BCF Upgrades Security & Surveillance at Edwards AFB

BCF Upgrades Security & Surveillance at Edwards AFB Sterling, VA (August 4, 2016) – BCF recently won a $7m task to replace the security system on a classified facility at the Air Force Test Center on Edwards Air Force Base in southern Califonia. The task involves the replacement of cameras, sensors, fencing, lighting, as well as the command and control system. This task was awarded under our prime Force Protection Site Security Systems (FPS3) contract vehicle supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/Program Executive Office for Battle Management. The work on for this ongoing effort involves the application of security systems beyond the physical perimeter of the base to the area of influence and interest. It includes the integrated use of tactics, techniques, procedures, and technology, as well as area intrusion detection, access control, alarm assessment and reporting, integrated command and control and display, delay and denial.
