BCF wins in Charleston Charleston, SC (November 2, 2015) – BCF recently was awarded its first task order as a prime contractor supporting the Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center Atlantic. The purpose of this work effort is to assist the C5ISR Architecture Engineering & Integration IPT with Strategic Planning, Process Improvement and Program Support. Team BCF, consisting of BCF, Morgan 6, Barling Bay, and Canvas will support the successful implementation of Quality, Strategic and Process Improvement principles in the Corporate Production environment.
BCF to Support NAVSEA Submarine Program Philadelphia, PA (September 29, 2015) – As a subcontractor to Orbis Sibro, Inc., BCF will support the Submarine Program at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division. This effort will provide engineering and technical support for submarine propulsion and auxiliary systems to include resolution of emergent equipment problems and Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for ongoing projects and initiatives. Specifically, BCF will be responsible for program support and quality assurance oversight.
BCF Critical Sub for SPAWAR ATC Charleston, SC (July 29, 2015) – BCF is a critical member of the CSSI team that won the US NAvy’s Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Command Air Traffic Control (ATC) IDIQ yesterday. this is a 5 year $199.9M effort for ATC system engineering and technical support services. This effort will support SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic (SSC LANT) to engineer, configure and maintain ATC, metereology/oceanography and aviation C5ISR systems. Air Traffic Control is a key platform in our strategic plan and this effort continues us down that path.Congrats to CSSI as well as our team in Charleston on this important win.
BCF Hosts Fundraising Event to End Veteran Suicide Hollywood, MD (June 12, 2015) – BCF is hosting a Veteran Suicide Prevention Campaign (STOP22) for the Patuxent River Naval Air Station area. Twenty-two veterans commit suicide every day, and BCF is raising awareness and partnering with K9s for Warriors to raise $22K in a single day. K9s For Warriors is dedicated to providing service canines to warriors suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disability, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma as a result of military service post 9/11. With Veterans expected to commit suicide today,STOP22 is an awareness campaign to show our Nation’s Military, active and retired, that they are not forgotten. State Senator Steve Waugh, The St. Mary’s County Sheriff, the NAVAIR Commanding Officer’s liaison to Wounded Warriors, and other advocates will be speaking throughout the reception. You can help us by donating or volunteering for our event on 12 June.
BCF Becomes Force Protection Integration Prime
Chantilly, VA (April 13, 2015) – BCF received an award to provide Force Protection Site Security Systems (FPS3) to the Air Force Materiel Command PEO Battle Management at Hanscom AFB. The contract is a $486,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for force protection site security systems. We will provide hardware engineering support for a worldwide family of integrated base defense security systems including: fixed-site intrusion detection systems, tactical automated security systems, and delay/denial systems. Work performance location will be determined for each delivery order, and is expected to be complete by April 12, 2023.
BCF Wins In Barcelona
Barcelona, Spain (February 20, 2015) – BCF has extended its support for a European Union (EU) agency, “Fusion for Energy”, by providing Planner/Scheduler support services through 2019. BCF will be a major contributor to scheduling/tracking of over 1.5B€ in procurements and engineering services over the next 4 years. This effort will be located in Barcelona, and will further build upon the services which BCF is presently providing which includes procurement support, business process re-engineering, and Earned Value Management, and Enterprise Reporting services.
BCF Provides Critical Test Equipment to Navy Aircraft Generation Systems
Hollywood, MD (December 1, 2014) – BCF was awarded a contract for the Production of the Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) Module Dynamic Counter Testers (DCT) for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR 188.8.131.52) at Lakehurst, NJ. PC Krause and Associates, who will provide the key electronic components as and software, teamed with BCF and developed the DCT under the auspices of the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program. The SCR DCT allows rapid and reliable testing of SCR modules used in US Navy aircraft. The SCR DCT will allow the fleet to significantly reduce current testing and sustainment costs. BCF is providing 36 DCTs and 30 Calibration Kits to both foreign and domestic F/A-18 support activities.
Mentor-Protege Relationship Wins TSA Task
Arlington, VA (September 30, 2014) – BCF recently supported the winning effort to support the DHS/TSA Office of Security Policy and Industry Engagement (OSPIE) with Cross Modal Division-National Plans Branch [CMD-NPB] Support. This is a current customer for BCF and through this effort, we increased our presence at TSA. The scope of work includes project planning and documentation, communications support, as well as deliverables and delivery support. Our partner for this effort was our DHS protégé, Strategic Alliance Business Group, a Service Disabled Woman-Owned Small Business we have worked with across multiple markets with multiple customers.
BCF Opens New Huntsville Office
Huntsville, AL (August 11, 2014) – BCF has a new location for its Huntsville office and Defense and Space Division headquarters at 1500 Perimeter Parkway. Suite 125 sits in one of the two main glass enclosed buildings of Corporate Perimeter Park, a well landscaped business park sitting around two separate ponds complete with marbled lobbies and outdoor patios. Although slightly smaller at 1500 s/f, the new office location provides better customer access, more parking for meetings, better conference space, and betters fits the staff that will sit there. We are also co-located with several of our industry partners which will enhance our business development activities in the Huntsville market greatly. It is conveniently located right off University Dr NW near several shopping and dining areas, including the Village of Providence.

BCF Helps Unseat Incumbent on EXPRESS Task Order
Huntsville, AL (May 9, 2014) – BCF was part of the winning EXPRESS team on a Task Order supporting Program Executive Office, Command, Control, Communication and Tactical (PEO C3T). We will provide a variety of programmatic support the Warfighter Information Network Tactical Project Office (WIN-T PO) as part of the Total Computer Solutions, Inc. team.This task order was issued on the EXPRESS contract and will include work in Huntsville, AL; Aberdeen, MD; and Ft. Hood, TX.
BCF Wins Recompete of MiDAESS Facilities Management Task
Huntsville, AL (May 8, 2014) – BCF won the rebid of our Missile Defense Agency Engineering Support and Services (MiDAESS) Facilities, Logistics, and Space Management Task Order in Huntsville, AL as a subcontractor to CSC. BCF personnel execute 90% of the work on the effort and have supported this customer with exceptional performance since 2003.This is one of our larger efforts with support for MDA facilities in Huntsville, AL; Ft. Belvoir, VA; Dahlgren, VA; Ft. Greely, AK; and Barking Sands, HI.
BCF Supports PST Project for F/A-18s
Hollywood, MD (April 21, 2014) – As a subcontractor to PC Krause and Associates (PCKA), BCF’s RedBlack Division participated in a successful Design Review with a NAVAIR Customer. The project is in support of a NAVAIR 184.108.40.206 requirement to design and build a Power Supply Tester (PST) for the F/A- 18 Aircraft. PCKA is the lead engineering firm responsible for functionality and BCF Solutions is the overall engineering packaging and integration lead. The PST is intended to test aircraft generator power supplies to identify bad components quickly and accurately to minimize down time and enhance higher full mission capable performance numbers for Navy Fleet aircraft. The current phase of the PST project is intended to develop a demonstration unit by the first quarter of FY2015 for validation and verification testing.
BCF WINS Prime Contract to Support SPAWAR
Charleston, SC (April 15, 2014) – BCF Solutions has won a prime contract to provide SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic (Charleston) with Information Dominance Program Financial Management support services, including analyses and research. This is a an unrestricted award and has a ceiling value estimated at approximately $250,000,000. Work will be performed worldwide.
